Monday Acupuncture at Seaford

Acupuncture is a great way to treat back problems and associated muscle conditions because it does this in a holistic way.

It's important to know that acupuncture does not look at your symptoms in isolation. If you have a bad back, you might also be experiencing stress elsewhere in your body, mind or emotions.

Jane Sefton
Jane Sefton, a partner at Seahaven Acupuncture Clinic, has been treating me with acupuncture for problems that would otherwise be agonising.  She is quite simply very good at her job.

On my last visit, Jane noticed I was pretty stressed out over writing deadlines.  After treating that on the spot, she inserted two tiny, magnetic alloy steel 'seeds' - one in each ear - for me to press later if I felt nauseous or needed to relax in a hurry.

Incidentally, the seeds of the pretty Nigella flower can also be used for this purpose.

The alloy'seeds' are so effective, I've been very careful not to lose them whilst washing my hair!  One activates a calming function; the other eases the stomach, which gets upset when I'm under pressure.

Jane is now available for acupuncture advice and naturopathic treatment on Mondays in Seaford. To make an appointment with her at Seaford or Newhaven, please ring on 01273 917888 or 07834 369390.

Menopausal Research Project

Jane Sefton is a partner with Martin Powell, an Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine practitioner at The Seahaven Acupuncture and Herbal Dispensary.

Martin is also author of the authoritative guide to Medicinal Mushrooms*. Given his expertise in this area, they are presently offering women with menopausal symptoms the opportunity to join a FREE research project that uses a proven natural remedy for these symptoms.

Nigella or Love-in-a-Mist
The clinic will provide a dietary supplement of Lion's Mane mushroom in dried powder form to be eaten with food or drunk in fruit juice. Just get in touch with them and ask for details and a form to be sent out for your details.

Also known as Seahaven Herbal, the clinic and dispensary is based at Denton Island, Newhaven, and they have plenty of car parking for both disabled and fully able car drivers.
